August 12 (SeeNews) - The Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) blue-chip SBITOP index recovered on Monday after closing lower in the previous two trading sessions, but the bourse's overall turnover shrank, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index closed 0.38% higher at 860.23 points on Monday.
Chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJSE:CICG] led the blue-chip gainers with a 3.94% price increase to 198 euro, followed by logistics group Intereuropa [LJSE:IEKG] with a 2.38% rise to 2,580 euro.
Hand tools manufacturer Unior [LJSE:UKIG] was the biggest loser among the blue chips on Monday, closing down 1.31% at 15,100 euro.
LJSE's total daily trading turnover plunged to 256,310 euro ($287,517) on Monday from 759,850 euro on Friday.
Trade in shares of lender NLB [LJSE:NLBR] generated the largest turnover on Monday, of 114,590 euro, with its shares closing flat at 55.6 euro apiece.
