April 7 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) soared 6.11% to 780.64 points on Tuesday, marking its third consecutive winning session, bourse data showed.
All blue chips closed either higher or unchanged from their previous closing price.
Port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] saw the biggest rise among SBITOP members, gaining 10.59% to 18.8 euro.
Other major gainers included insurer Sava Re [LJE:POSR] and chemicals maker Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG], which added 9.15% and 8.70%, respectively.
Trade in shares in pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the largest portion of the day's trading turnover. Total regulated market turnover amounted to 3.1 million euro ($3.4 million) on Tuesday, while trade in Krka shares generated over 1 million euro.
