October 29 (SeeNews) - Aerodrom Ljubljana, the operator of Slovenia's main airport, Joze Pucnik, said on Tuesday its net profit edged up to some 2.03 million euro ($2.8 million) in the first half of 2013 from 1.98 million euro a year earlier.
Operating revenue rose 1.9% on the year to 14.8 million euro through June while operating costs fell 5.4% to 12 million euro, the company said in a bourse filing.
The number of passengers serviced at the airport in the first half rose 7.1% on the year to 575,463, while the number of aircraft movements fell to 15,972 in the first half from 18,070 a year ago.
Slovenian state-owned flag carrier Adria Airways accounted for 69.9% of total passenger numbers through June, down from 72.3% last year.
In the first half of 2013, the Ljubljana airport services 23 scheduled flights, compared with 24 in the same period last year, with London, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Munich, Zurich and Paris accounting for half of all passengers.
