April 21 (SeeNews) - The aggregate value of Macedonian bank's outstanding loans to the private sector ticked down 0.03% year-on-year to 279.16 billion denars ($4.86 billion/4.54 billion euro) in March, after an annual decline of 0.4% in February, data from the central bank, NBRM, showed on Friday.
The value of bank deposits increased 4.2% on the year to 317.7 billion denars at end-March, following a 5% annual increase a month earlier, according to data published on the website of NBRM.
Total assets of Macedonian banks expanded 2% year-on-year, reaching 538.3 billion denars at the end of March, after increasing 2.5% in February.
