SOFIA (Bulgaria), December 20 (SeeNews) – Hourly labour costs in Bulgaria rose by an annual 10.7% in the third quarter of 2017, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Wednesday.
Salary costs rose by an annual 10.6% in the July-September period, while other labour costs increased 11.1% on the year, the NSI said in a statement.
Hourly labour costs rose the most in the industrial sector – by 11.5% on the year, followed by the services and construction sectors, with annual increases of 10.8% and 7.0%, respectively.
In terms of economic activities, the highest growth rate, of 14.8%, was recorded in administrative and support services, followed by other service activities and education, with growth of 14.4% and 13.7%, respectively.
