March 16 (SeeNews) - Hourly labour costs in Romania and Bulgaria rose the most among European Union member states in the fourth quarter of 2017, compared to the prior-year period, the bloc's statistical office said on Friday.
Romania and Bulgaria recorded annual growth in hourly labour costs of 14.3% and 12.2%, respectively, in the fourth quarter of last year, Eurostat said in a statement.
Hourly labour costs in the EU increased by 2.3% year-on-year on average in the period under review.
