LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), November 27 (SeeNews) – Slovenian pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] recorded the sharpest losses in its share price among the blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
Krka's shares closed 1.12% lower at 70.4 euro. The company generated also the largest portion of the LJSE's trading turnover on Wednesday - 571,390 euro.
The bourse's total turnover fell to 1.22 million euro ($1.3 million) from 1.44 million on Tuesday.
Chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] posted the biggest gains among the blue-chip companies on Wednesday, erasing losses it suffered in the previous session.
Cinkarna Celje closed 1.09% higher at 185.0 euro. On Tuesday, the company’s shares closed 1.08% lower at 183.0 euro.
The LJSE's blue-chip SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, ended Tuesday's session 0.13% lower at 896.33 points.
