LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), January 23 (SeeNews) – Slovenian pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] posted the biggest gains among the blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
Krka’s shares closed at 74.4 euro, up 2.76%. Trading in the company's shares generated the largest turnover on Wednesday – 681,650 euro.
Total regulated market daily turnover fell to 1.37 million euro ($1.5 million) from 4.4 million euro on Tuesday.
Reinsurer Sava Re [LJE:POSR] fell the most among the blue chips. The company's shares ended Wednesday's session 1.02% lower at 19.5 euro.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, gained 1.01% to a closing value of 967.78 points on Wednesday.
