LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), December 29 (SeeNews) – Drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated 79% of the total trading turnover on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Friday, bourse data showed.
Krka generated a turnover of 2.4 million euro ($2.9 million) on Friday, as 42,518 of the company's shares changed hands during the trading session.
Total trading turnover on the LJSE increased to 3.1 million euro on Friday from 2.8 million euro on Thursday.
Insurance company KD Group [LJE:KDHR] was the top blue-chip gainer on Friday, closing 11.25% higher at 8.01 euro.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, rose 1.27% to 806.52 points on Friday. On Thursday, the index closed 0.35% higher.
Home appliances manufacturer Gorenje [LJE:GRVG] fell the most among blue chips on Friday, as it closed 1.16% lower at 5.1 euro.
