May 23 (SeeNews) - Kosovo's trade deficit edged down by 0.2% year-on-year in April, to 380.9 million euro ($411.4 million), the statistical office, ASK, said.
Exports dropped 16.9% on the year to 67.2 million euro in the month under review, while imports declined by 3.1% to 448.2 million-euro, ASK said in a statement on Monday.
North Macedonia, the United States and Albania remained Kosovo's primary export destinations in April, absorbing Kosovo exports of 10.7 million euro, 9.8 million euro and 8.3 million euro respectively.
Turkey was the main source of Kosovo's imports in Aporil with 67 million euro, followed by Germany with 62.8 million euro. Other major importers into Kosovo were China, Albania and Greece.
Kosovo exported mainly metals, plastic and rubber, foods, tobacco and beverages, and minerals.
