PRISTINA (Kosovo), March 11 (SeeNews) – Kosovo's power plants generated 1,379 gigawatthours (GWh) of electricity in the last quarter of the year, up 50.2% from the third quarter of 2014, the country's statistics agency said.
As much as 1,333 GWh of the produced electricity in the three-month period was generated by thermal power plants and the rest came from hydropower, the statistics agency said in a quarterly report published on its website late on Tuesday.
In the fourth quarter of 2014 Kosovo imported 259.7 GWh of electricity and exported 68.8 GWh.
