PRISTINA (Kosovo), December 27 (SeeNews) – Kosovo's trade deficit increased by 9.2% year-on-year to 262.2 million euro ($290.9 million) in November, the country's statistical office said.
Exports increased by 1.9% to 35.3 million euro in November, while imports increased by 8.3% to 297.6 million euro, the Agency of Statistics said in a monthly economic report earlier this week.
Kosovo's main export destinations in November were Italy, Albania and North Macedonia. Base metals, plastic products, as well as food, beverages and tobacco were Kosovo's main export items.
Mineral products, machinery, mechanical and electrical equipment as well as food, beverages and tobacco made up the bulk of Kosovo's imports in November. Most of the imports originated in Turkey, Germany and China.
