PRISTINA (Kosovo), December 28 (SeeNews) – Kosovo's gross domestic product (GDP) grew by a real 4.4% year-on-year in the third quarter of 2017, after posting the same growth rate in the second quarter, Kosovo's statistics agency said on Thursday.
Calculated in current prices, Kosovo's second-quarter GDP totalled 1.78 billion euro ($2.11 billion), statistics agency data showed.
Gross capital formation increased by 8.8% year-on-year in the July-September period, exports of goods and services rose by 29.4% and imports increased by 6.7%. Declines were recorded in household and government consumption, of 7.6 % and 1.3%, respectively.
Kosovo's economy expanded by 3.4% in 2016, compared with 4.1% in 2015.
