PRISTINA (Kosovo), December 28 (SeeNews) – Kosovo's gross domestic product (GDP) grew by a real 3.4% year-on-year in the third quarter of 2018, after increasing by an annual 4.7% in the second quarter, Kosovo's statistical agency said on Friday.
Calculated in current prices, Kosovo's third-quarter GDP totalled 1.8 billion euro ($2.1 billion), the statistical agency said in a quarterly report.
Gross capital formation increased by 24.6% year-on-year in the July-September period.
Exports of goods and services decreased by 8.0% and imports increased by 8.4%.
Kosovo's economy grew by a real 4.23% year-on-year in 2017, after expanding by an annual 4.1% in 2016.
Kosovo's 2018 state budget envisages 4.6% economic growth and deficit equivalent to 1.5% of GDP.
