PRISTINA (Kosovo), October 7 (SeeNews) – Kosovo's gross domestic product (GDP) increased by a real 4.1% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2019, after growing by 4.2% in the previous quarter, the statistical office said on Monday.
Measured in current prices, Kosovo's GDP totalled 1.82 billion euro ($2 billion) in the April-June period, the Kosovo Agency of Statistics said in a statement.
Gross capital formation increased by 4.1% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2019, exports of goods and services rose by 14.3% while imports edged down 0.5%.
Kosovo's economy expanded by a real 3.8% in 2018, after growing by 4.2% in 2017.
Kosovo's 2019 state budget envisages up to 4.7% economic growth and deficit equivalent to 2.0% of GDP.
