May 26 (SeeNews) - Kosovo’s harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP) increased by 11.6% in 2022, after advancing by 3.4% in the previous year, the country’s statistical office, ASK, said on Friday.
The strongest upward push on annual inflation in 2022 came from a 44.5% rise in the harmonised index of the oils, followed by solid fuels by 34.8%, fuels and car lubricants with a 32.7% rise, and bread and grains by 25.2%, ASK said in a statement.
ASK has been publishing the annual publication of Kosovo’s EU - Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) since January 2015.
