September 20 (SeeNews) - Kosovo's gross domestic product (GDP) rose by 5.2% in 2022, after expanding by 10.75% the year before, reviewed data published on Wednesday by the country's statistical office show.
In March, ASK said, citing preliminary data, that the country’s GDP rose by 3.5% in 2022.
Measured at current prices, Kosovo's GDP totalled 9 billion euro ($9.5 billion) in 2022, after reaching 8 billion euro in the previous year, Kosovo's agency of statistics, ASK, said in a statement. Kosovo’s GDP per capita stood at 5,037 euro in 2022, increasing from 4,486 euro in the previous year.
The sectors with the highest positive contribution to Kosovo's economic growth in 2022 were repairs of vehicles and motorcycles with 10.8%, information and communication with 9.2%, professional, scientific and technical activities with 7% and administrative and supporting activities with 6.7%.
