June 30 (SeeNews) - Kosovo's current account deficit shrank to 76.8 million ($87.7 million) euro in April from 94 million euro in the same month of 2016, mainly due to smaller trade gap and higher surplus from services, the central bank said on Friday.
Trade deficit declined to 203.5 million euro in April, from 212 million euro a year earlier, whereas surplus from services resulted 32.8 million euro in April, more than double the 13.4 million euro surplus in the like month of 2016.
In 2016, Kosovo posted a current account deficit of 548.8 million euro.
