October 19 (SeeNews) - Kosovo had a consolidated budget surplus of 33.3 million euro ($49.7 million) in the first seven months of the year, compared to a surplus of 120.8 million euro a year earlier, Kosovo’s Central Bank said.
Revenue remained unchanged in the first seven months of the year, while spending increased by 22.5%, the central bank said in its monthly economic report, quoting data of the Finance Ministry.
In 2008 Kosovo had a budget deficit of 8.0 million euro versus a 166.8 million euro surplus in 2007.
