April 12 (SeeNews) - Kosovo's consumer prices increased by an annual 0.1% in March, as much as a month earlier, data from the national statistic office showed on Tuesday.
The prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages, which have the largest weight of 39.2% in the consumer basket, went down by 0.4% on the year in March, data published on the statistics office website indicated.
The costs for transport, with the second largest weight of 13.1%, decreased by an annual 4.7%.
On a monthly comparison basis, Kosovo's harmonized consumer price index grew 0.1%.
Further details about the country's consumer prices in March were not immediately available.
In 2015 Kosovo posted an average deflation of 0.5%.
