November 1 (SeeNews) - Kosovo’s government approved the 2022 draft budget, planning an increase in both revenues and expenditures, it said.
Expenditures are planned at 2.75 billion euro ($3.2 billion), 8.7% higher compared with the 2021 revised budget, while revenues are set at 2.36 billion euro, an increase of 15% compared to the previous year, Kosovo's prime minister's office said in a statement on Friday.
"The draft budget for 2022 aims to consolidate the economic revival, ensure the sustainability of public finances, reorient the economy towards production and exports, as well as support employment and sustainable economic development," the statement reads.
The budget is now to be submitted to parliament for discussion and approval.
