June 5 (SeeNews) - Kosovo’s consolidated budget was in surplus of 164 million euro ($175.2 million) in the first quarter, larger than the 97.9-million-euro surplus recorded in the same period of last year, the country’s statistical office said.
Consolidated budget revenue increased by 21.2% year-on-year in the January-March period, reaching 675.7 million euro, while expenditures rose by 11.3% to 511.8 million euro, ASK said in a data release last week.
Taxes on products accounted for 63.7% of total budget revenue in the review period, followed by incomes taxes with 16.7%.
