PRISTINA (Kosovo), December 27 (SeeNews) – The net profit of Kosovo's banking sector decreased to 75.1 million euro ($85.5 million) in the first 11 months of 2018, from 82.0 million euro in the like period of last year, Kosovo's central bank said.
The outstanding loan portfolio of Kosovo's banks expanded by 11.1% year-on-year to 2.73 billion euro at the end of November, the central bank said in a monthly report on Wednesday.
Deposits increased by 7.7%, reaching 3.24 billion euro at the end of November.
The Kosovo banking system's total assets grew to 4.04 billion euro as of the end of November from 3.79 billion euro a year earlier.
Return on assets (ROA) decreased to 2.3%, from 2.7%. Return on equity also fell - to 19.1% from 22.1%.
The figures comprise the financial results of 10 Kosovo banks. The largest by assets among them are Raiffeisen Bank Kosovo and ProCredit Bank.
