April 19 (SeeNews) - Kosovo's government has decided to allow shopping malls, gyms and hospitality venues to reopen, relaxing some of the COVID-19 restrictions as of Monday morning, the prime minister's office said.
Yet, these businesses will have to ensure social distancing by allowing a limited number of visitors, to prevent a potential spread of the disease, Kosovo's prime minister office said in a statement on Sunday.
The government has also shortened the night curfew by 30 minutes, which will now be effective from 10:30 pm to 5 am.
AQnother easing of the restrictions is that public gatherings are now limited to 30 people, instead of ten.
Shopping malls, gyms, bars, cafes and restaurants were ordered to close, except for takeaway services, starting April 7.
Kosovo has confirmed a total of 101,153 Covid-19 cases, including 2,061 deaths, as of April 16.
