February 19 (SeeNews) - The main indices on the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed lower on Tuesday, with electrical equipment manufacturer Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI] leading the decliners among the blue chips, ZSE trading data showed.
Koncar's shares dropped 3.23% to 600 kuna.
Telecommunications equipment producer Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT] paced the blue-chip gainers, closing 3% higher at 1,030 kuna.
For a third trading day in a row, shares in Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] generated the highest turnover on the stock exchange on Tuesday, this time of 1.4 million kuna.
ZSE's total trading turnover decreased to 4.9 million kuna ($748,604/660,566 euro) on Tuesday, from 5.3 million kuna on Monday.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX share index fell by 0.36% to 1,767.47, after rising 0.25% on Monday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, decreased by 0.30% to 1,032.66 on Tuesday, after increasing by 0.34% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS closed 0.04% lower to 111.0100.
