November 10 (SeeNews) - Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] generated the highest share turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as share indices increased, bourse data showed.
A total of 60,039 of the lender's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 109.6 million dinars. Komercijalna banka won 1.33% and closed at 1,825 dinars.
Cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, as its share price rose 3.3% to 2,190 dinars. A total of 185 of the company's shares were traded, generating a turnover of 405,150 dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, increased 0.50% to 738.64 points on Friday. On Thursday, the index rose 0.61%.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, went up 0.33% on Friday and closed at 1,609.16 points, after increasing 0.58% on Thursday.
Industrial gases maker Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] paced the blue-chip decliners on Friday, as its share price fell by 2.36% to 11,717 dinars. A single share of the company changed hands.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse increased to 279.1 million dinars ($2.74 million/2.35 million euro) on Friday from 50.3 million dinars on Thursday, as 164 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 852,574 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 1.764 billion dinars to the session's total trading turnover of 2.043 billion dinars on the bourse. A total of 7,000 bonds of the euro-denominated RSO16138 issue changed hands in a single deal. The bonds bear a coupon of 1.5% and mature on June 13, 2018. Investors also traded 30,000 bonds of the dinar-denominated RSO1478 issue, bearing a coupon of 10% and maturing on June 5, 2021. A total of 32,132 bonds of the dinar-denominated RSO15105 issue changed hands. The bonds bear a coupon of 10% and mature on March 2, 2018.
In the period between November 6 and 10, BELEX15 and BELEXline rose 1.33% and 1.11%, respectively.
Metalac led the blue-chip gainers' list this week, as it won 10.11% in the period. A total of 1,209 shares in the company changed hands, generating a turnover of 2.5 million dinars.
The total value of trading in shares on the Belgrade stock market in the period between November 6 and 10 was 374.7 million dinars, versus 42.3 million dinars in the previous week.
The total value of the trade in Treasury bonds came in at 3.4 billion dinars, versus 784.1 million dinars last week.
