January 16 (SeeNews) - Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 505 NIS shares changed hands in turnover of 1.7 million dinars. Komercijalna closed down 0.50% at 3,363 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.15% at 804.50 points.
Industrial gases maker Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price rose 1.44% to 14,191 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.10% at 1,729.80.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 231.8 million dinars ($4.3 million/3.9 million euro) on Thursday, down from 457.3 million dinars on Wednesday, as 122 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 1.0 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 217.5 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Thursday.
