BELGRADE (Serbia), January 9 (SeeNews) - Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 8,171 Komercijalna shares changed hands in turnover of 26.9 million dinars. Komercijalna closed down 2.67% at 3,286 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.26% at 800.22 points.
Agricultural chemicals maker Galenika Fitofarmacija [BEL:FITO] led the blue-chip gainers' list, as its share price rose 4.16% to 3,030 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.57% at 1,732.03.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 47.8 million dinars ($451,300/406,370 euro) on Thursday, down from 670.3 million dinars on Wednesday, as 102 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 88,050 dinars.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on the stock exchange on Thursday.
