June 4 (SeeNews) - Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday, as share indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 1,708 of the lender's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 3.4 million dinars. Komercijalna won 3.26% and closed at 1,962 dinars.
Soybean processing company Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange after gaining 3.83% to 190 dinars. The company generated a turnover of 28,500 dinars, as 150 of its shares changed hands.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went up 0.54% to 745.01 points on Monday. The index rose 0.05% on Friday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.33% to 1,569.40 points, after closing flat on Friday.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] paced the blue-chip decliners on Monday after losing 0.97% and closing at 717 dinars. A total of 1,285 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 920,840 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse fell to 5.6 million dinars ($55,583/47,395 euro) on Monday from 33.4 million dinars on Friday, as 107 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 78,440 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 347.9 million dinars to the total turnover of 353.5 million dinars on the stock exchange.
