July 6 (SeeNews) - Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as share indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.
A total of 2,705 of the ledner's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 5.3 million dinars. Komercijalna banka closed flat at 1,950 dinars.
Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] led the blue-chip gainers' list on Friday after winning 1.26% and closing at 1,693 dinars. A total of 250 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 423,077 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went up 0.26% to 736.14 points on Friday. The index fell 0.39% on Thursday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, declined 1.06% to 1,533.08 points on Friday, after decreasing 0.26% on Thursday.
Soybean processing company Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] paced the blue-chip decliners on Friday after losing 3.92% and closing at 147 dinars. A total of 15 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 2,205 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse rose to 12.9 million dinars ($128,490/109,335 euro) on Friday from 6.6 million dinars on Thursday, as 239 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 1.3 million dinars.
In the period between July 2 and 6, BELEX15 rose by 0.38%, while BELEXline declined by 1.12%.
The total value of trading in shares on the Belgrade stock market in the period between July 2 and 6 was 124.5 million dinars, versus 118 million dinars in the previous week.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 200.1 million dinars to the total turnover, versus 220.5 million dinars last week.
