BELGRADE (Serbia), April 2 (SeeNews) – Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as stock indices ended down, bourse data showed.
A total of 6,122 Komercijalna shares changed hands in turnover of 15.6 million dinars. Komercijalna closed up 0.71% at 2,548 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 2.12% at 645.03 points.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price rose 0.92% to 548 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 1.39% at 1,443.08.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 25 million dinars ($231,000/213,000 euro) on Thursday, up from 14.1 million dinars on Wednesday, as 43 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 4.3 million dinars.
