January 19 (SeeNews) - Lender Komercijalna Banka [BEL:KMBN] led the blue-chip gainers list on the Belgrade bourse on Thursday, as share indices ended mixed, stock exchange data showed.
Komercijalna Banka gained 2.04% on the stock market on Thursday and closed at 1,748 dinars amid a trading volume of 95 shares. On Wednesday, the Serbian autonomous region of Vojvodina said Komercijalna banka won a tender for extending a loan for the refinancing of 17.2 million euro ($18.3 million) of its debt. The bank lost 1.83% on Wednesday and closed at 1,713 dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, won 0.04% to 711.85 on Thursday. On Wednesday, BELEX15 fell 0.51% to 711.59.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation-weighted index, closed at 1,562.85, slightly below its 1,562.91 value on Wednesday, when the index declined by 0.32%.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS], a BELEX15 component, was the most traded on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as 1,721 of its shares changed hands. NIS generated a share trading turnover of 1.281 million dinars, the largest one on the Belgrade bourse on Thursday, and was the second biggest loser, as its share price declined by 0.80% to 744 dinars.
Blue-chip soybean processing company Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] paced the decliners on the Belgrade stock market on Thursday, after losing 3.53% to 628 dinars.
Trading in shares generated 5.98 million dinars ($512,008/482,682 euro) of turnover on Thursday versus 47.71 million dinars on Wednesday. Trading in shares on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) segment accounted for 2.3 million dinars of the total turnover on the Belgrade stock market on Thursday.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 496.9 million dinars to Thursday's total trading turnover of 502.9 million dinars. All Treasury bonds traded on the stock market on Thursday were dinar-denominated.
