November 30 (SeeNews) - Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as share indices increased, bourse data showed.
A total of 2,717 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 5 million dinars. Komercijalna banka gained 0.82% and closed at 1,850 dinars.
Agricultural chemicals producer Galenika Fitofarmacija [BEL:FITO] led the blue-chip gainers' list on Thursday, after winning 4.66% and closing at 2,899 dinars. A total of 5 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 14,495 dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, rose 1.04% to 743.93 points on Thursday. On Wednesday, the index dropped 0.42%.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, added 1.0% on Thursday and closed at 1,644.46 points, after falling 0.44% on Wednesday.
There were no blue-chip decliners on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse decreased to 18.6 million dinars ($185,855/155,972 euro) on Thursday from 31.4 million dinars on Wednesday, as 261 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 8.2 million dinars.
