August 10 (SeeNews) - Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as share indices ended down, bourse data showed.
A total of 2,010 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 4 million dinars.
Industrial gases maker Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] led the blue-chip gainers' list on Friday after winning 0.23% and closing at 11,447 dinars. A total of 15 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 171,708 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went down 0.47% to 742.96 points on Friday. The index rose 0.48% on Thursday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, lost 0.27% to 1,537.72 points on Friday, after increasing 0.32% on Thursday.
Soybean processing company Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] paced the blue-chip decliners' list on the Belgrade bourse on Friday, after losing 3.45% and closing at 140.0 dinars. A total of 948 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 132,897 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse fell to 5.0 million dinars ($48,460/42,375 euro) on Friday from 252.6 million dinars on Thursday, as 79 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 312,875 dinars.
