BELGRADE (Serbia), April 20 (SeeNews) – Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade stock market on Thursday, as share indices increased, bourse data showed.
Komercijalna banka won 6.31% and closed at 3,856 dinars and was also the most traded stock on the Belgrade bourse on Thursday, as 3,856 of its shares changed hands in 27 transactions. The lender generated a stock turnover of 6.9 million dinars, the highest one on the stock market on Thursday.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, rose 0.74% to 732.80 points on Thursday. On Wednesday, the index won 0.10% to 727.44.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.52% and closed Thursday's session at 1,583.37. The index fell 0.19% to 1,575.15 on Wednesday.
Cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] paced the blue-chip decliners in Belgrade on Thursday. Its shares fell 1.93% and closed at 1,681 dinars. A total of 200 shares in the company changed hands, generating a trading turnover of 336,250 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse fell to 21.1 million dinars ($183,623/170,744 euro) on Thursday from 22.4 million dinars on Wednesday, as 283 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 3.5 million dinars on Thursday.
