BELGRADE (Serbia), March 23 (SeeNews) – Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] generated nearly half of the total share turnover on the Belgrade stock market on Thursday, as share indices declined, bourse data showed.
Komercijalna banka generated a stock turnover of 4.6 million dinars on Thursday. It was also the most traded stock on the bourse, as 2,557 shares changed hands in five transactions. The share price of Komercijalna banka edged up 0.56% to 1,790 dinars.
Construction company Jedinstvo [BEL:JESV] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade stock market on Thursday, after adding 2.20% to 4,190 dinars. A total of 53 shares in Jedinstvo changed hands on Thursday, generating a turnover of 222,070 dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, declined 0.75% to 740.31 points on Thursday. On Wednesday, the index lost 0.19% to 745.88.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, fell 0.35% and closed Thursday's session at 1,615.90. The index edged down 0.01% to 1,621.56 on Wednesday.
Civil engineering company Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] paced the blue-chip decliners in Belgrade on Thursday. Its shares fell 2.89% and closed at 1,410 dinars. A total of 90 shares in the company changed hands, generating a trading turnover of 126,840 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse declined to 9.0 million dinars ($78,311/72,590 euro) on Thursday from 31.1 million dinars on Wednesday, as a total of 93 transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 310,800 dinars on Thursday.
