SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), December 4 (SeeNews) – Slovenian company Kolektor's Bosnian unit, a manufacturer of automotive starters and industrial motor components, is mulling expanding its presence in the country by opening a production facility in the municipality of Prijedor, the local government said.
In the coming period, Prijedor's municipal government will work towards creating the conditions for the company's arrival, it said in a statement over the weekend.
Kolektor Bosna, launched in 2005 in Laktasi municipality, produces mainly automotive starters and large commutators for the motors of electric fork lifts and for industrial motors. In 2015, the company opened a production facility near Banja Luka and another in Srbac this year.
Kolektor employs 450 people in Bosnia.
