SOFIA (Bulgaria), November 16 (SeeNews) – Germany’s Klett Lernen und Information has filed for regulatory approval to acquire Bulgarian publishing houses Bulvest-2000 and Anubis, as well as book distributor Anubis-Bulvest, the Bulgarian competition regulator said.
Klett Lernen und Information already operates on the Bulgarian market through its subsidiaries RAABE Bulgaria, which publishes professional literature and practical trainings and Klett Bulgaria, which publishes textbooks, according to a notice published on the website of the Commission for Protection of Competition on Wednesday.

The deal is expected to affect the publishing and book distribution markets in Bulgaria, the notice reads.
Klett Lernen und Information is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Germany’s Klett.
