February 20 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria’s competition authority said that it approved a deal of financial holding Kirk Beauty Netherlands Holding BV, part of Germany's Douglas Holding, for the acquisition of sole control of Parfumerie Douglas Bulgaria.
The transaction is not expected to have any effects on the competitive environment in the market in which Parfumerie Douglas Bulgaria operates, the Commission on Protection of Competition said in its decision published last week.

Kirk Beauty already owns 76% of Parfumerie Douglas Bulgaria, while the remaining 24% interest if held by Nina Georgieva, manager of the Bulgarian company.
Parfumerie Douglas Bulgaria operates perfumery and cosmetics store chains Douglas and beauty|zone. The first beauty|zone shop was opened in Sofia in 2006. In 2008, the beauty|zone chain became part of Germany's Douglas Holding.
