April 10 (SeeNews) - Montenegrin tourism minister Pavle Radulovic has said that Karisma Hotels Adriatic (KHA) consortium has sent a letter of interest in the privatisation of local hotel operator Ulcinjska Rivijera [MNG:ULRI].
It is very positive that the owners of KHA - German tourism group TUI, Mexican hotel operator Karisma Hotels International and Croatian diversified group Agrokor - have shown interest in the Montenegrin market, Radulovic said in a video posted on the website of public broadcaster Radio Televizija Crne Gore (RTCG) over the weekend.

The government plans to call a tender for the sale of Ulcinjska Rivijera in the next two months based on the interest expressed by the consortium which is expected to upgrade the classification of Olympic and Bellevue hotels to five stars from four, the director of Ulcinjska Rivijera, Radomir Zec, said in the video.
In January, Montenegrin media reported that TUI had secured a 200 million euro ($211.7 million) loan for the purchase of a nudist village on Ada Bojana island and Bellevue hotel in Ulcinj from hotel operator Ulcinjska Rivijera.
Representatives of TUI were expected to begin talks on the potential deal with Montenegrin prime minister Dusko Markovic in March, local daily Vijesti said back then.
