March 8 (SeeNews) - Financial company KD Group [LJE:KDHR] led the blue-chip gainers in Wednesday's trading session on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE), bourse data showed.
KD Group rose by 9.48% to a close of 8.999 euro in a trading turnover of 5,760 euro.
Total stock trading turnover fell to 1.37 million euro on Wednesday from 2.96 million euro in the previous session.
Insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav [LJE:ZVTG] generated the largest trading turnover, of 565,550 euro. The stock closed at 26.310 euro, 1.39% lower.
Drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] recorded the second-highest turnover on Wednesday, of 420,390 euro, as the company's share price declined 0.15% to 52.53 euro.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and highly capitalised stocks on the LJSE, fell 0.12% to 785.02 points on Wednesday, after dropping 0.50% on Tuesday.
Slovenian reinsurer Sava Re [LJE:POSR] was the top blue-chip decliner on Wednesday, closing 3.48% lower, at 16.210 euro, in a trading turnover of 41,100 euro.
