June 16 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian financial leasing company Elana Agrocredit [BUL:EAC] said that the local branch of Belgium's KBC Asset Management has increased its stake in the company to 5.0029%.
KBC Asset Management - Bulgaria Branch increased lifted its shareholding interest in the company indirectly, acting on behalf of its funds UBB Platinum Bond Fund, UBB Premium Equity, UBB Balanced Fund and UBB Patrimonium Land, Elana Agrocredit said in a bourse filing last week.
KBC Asset Management - Bulgaria Branch held a stake lower than 5% in Elana Agrocredit prior to the transactions.
Last year, the Bulgarian financial regulator said that KBC Asset Management was planning to expand the scope of activities of its branch in Bulgaria.
As at 14:15 CET on Wednesday, shares in Elana Agrocredit traded unchahned at 1.08 ($0.67/0.55 euro) levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data showed.
