December 8 (SeeNews) - Kaufland Romania, a unit of German retailer Kaufland, said it opened a new store in Domnesti, Ilfov county, its 159th in the country.
The new hypermarket has a total surface area of 5,600 sq m, of which 3,200 sq m of shopping space, and will employ a staff of hndred, Kaufland Romania said in a press release on Wednesday.
The store will also feature 233 parking lots, of which four will be equipped with charging stations for electric vehicles.
Kaufland is present in Romania since 2005. The retailer owns more than 1,500 stores across eight European countries and employs some 148,000.
