June 17 (SeeNews) - Tobacco products wholesaler Karelia Bulgaria, a wholly-owned unit of Greece's largest cigarette manufacturer Karelia Tobacco Company, said that its consolidated net profit grew to 79.0 million levs ($45.4 million/40.4 million euro) last year from 54.7 million levs in 2017.
Karelia Bulgaria's sales revenue rose to 961.1 million levs last year from 916.7 million levs in 2017, the company said in an annual financial statement.
Cost of goods sold amounted to 856.2 million levs in 2018, up from 806.3 million levs the year before.
Distribution costs fell to 20.6 million levs from 22.2 million levs.
Karelia Bulgaria's capital investments amounted to 11.7 million euro in 2018.
