SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), December 1 (SeeNews) - The Bosnian unit of Danish bedding and furniture retailer JYSK said that its earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) rose 51% year-on-year to an all-time high 12.2 million marka ($7.1 million/6.2 million euro) in fiscal year 2020/21 ended August 31.

JYSK BiH's turnover grew 14% on the year to record high 64.3 million marka thanks to synergy of its stores and digital platforms, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

The company plans further expansion and modernisation of the existing stores in the next few years, it added.

JYSK is active in 50 countries, employing 26,500 people in over 3,000 stores.
