November 24 (SeeNews) - The Serbian arm of Danish bedding and furniture retailer JYSK said that its earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) rose 8.15% year-on-year to an all-time high 1.3 billion dinars ($11.7 million/11.3 million euro) in the fiscal year 2021/22 ended August 31.
JYSK Serbia's turnover grew 11.4% on the year to 7.6 billion dinars, the company said in a press release on Thursday.
JYSK Serbia achieved the highest financial turnover growth in the furniture, mattresses and decorations product groups, which together account for 55% of JYSK's sales.
The company has been operating in Serbia since 2011 and has 43 shops, employing over 400 people.
JYSK operates in 50 countries, employing 26,500 people in over 3,000 stores.
