September 7 (SeeNews) - Greek toy retailer Jumbo said on Thursday that the group's sales in Bulgaria grew by 15% year-on-year in the first eight months through August, slightly below the 18% rise recorded for the group overall.
In August alone, sales in Bulgaria increased by an annual 11%, compared to 8% posted for the group as a whole, Jumbo said in a press release.
In Romania, Jumbo's sales added 4% year-on-year in August and 14% for the first eight months of 2023.
For the eight months through August of 2022, the Jumbo group booked an 11% annual growth in sales, with sales in Bulgaria edging up by 1% and sales in Romania declining by 1.5% on the year, according to an earlier statement.
