March 5 (SeeNews) - J.P. Morgan expects Serbia's gross domestic product (GDP) to grow by 4.5% in 2020, the country's president Aleksandar Vucic has said.
"J.P. Morgan said that Serbia would manage to overcome all regional difficulties and that our growth would be as high as 4.5% this year," Vucic said in a video file posted on the YouTube channel of news agency Tanjug on Wednesday.
"At eurozone level, economic growth is estimated at 0.5%. We are growing nine times faster," Vucic said.
In January, the Serbian central bank said J.P. Morgan has placed Serbia on Index Watch Positive for potential inclusion in its Government Bond Index-Emerging Markets (GBI-EM).
