February 4 (SeeNews) - Romanian food delivery and take-away chain Jerry's Pizza said on Tuesday it has invested over 600,000 euro in four new units it has opened in 2019.
Three units were opened in Bucharest neighbourhoods of Pipera, Militari and Matache, while the fourth one was opened in Balotesti, near the capital city, Jerry's Pizza said in a press release.
Jerry's Pizza plans for the first half of 2020 include the opening of two more units in Bucharest, in line with its national expansion strategy.
"We want to get closer to consumers and offer them as fast as possible delivery, tasty and unique products, so we plan to expand our network of stores and to introduce new specialties in the menu, all the more because we are active in such a dynamic industry," Jerry's Pizza general manager Jerry Dauteuil said.
Also, starting this spring, Jerry's Pizza plans to put its Food Truck into motion at various locations in Bucharest and in the country.
The company is also focusing on expanding its delivery fleet currently comprising 60 cars, 45 scooters and 20 electric bicycles.
Jerry's Pizza was established in Romania 22 years ago by American entrepreneur Jerry Dauteuil. At the moment, it has 21 units across the country.
