March 22 (SeeNews) - Construction company Jedinstvo [BEL:JESV] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as stock indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.
A total of 800 Jedinstvo shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 4.1 million dinars. Jedinstvo closed down 0.16% at 5,102 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.31% lower at 729.48 points.
No blue-chip member closed up on Friday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.06% to 1,580.55.
The total turnover on the bourse decreased to 7.8 million dinars ($74,609/66,087 euro) on Friday from 216.7 million dinars on Thursday, as 103 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the Belgrade Stock Exchange resulted in a turnover of 1.1 million dinars.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on the stock exchange on Friday.
In the period between March 18 and 22, BELEX15 rose by 2.95% and BELEXline went up by 1.83%.
The total value of trading on the Belgrade stock market in the period between March 18 and 22 was 2.116 billion dinars, versus 421.2 million dinars in the previous week.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 2.061 billion dinars to the total turnover, versus 306.4 million dinars last week.
